mine didnt match the picture, i got a darker handle wrap, and the blade is black, except where its sharpend, so that kinda matches, but it looks great and feels Very solid. I am no weak woman, but this sword is HEAVY. To everyone that USES this as a real sword. The original weighs 10-15 more pounds. I would recommend it to anyone. as for the worse problem. A solid 1/2 inch thick carbon steel sword that has zombie and boggy man waiting for the next guy to pick on. this sword did extremely well with all three, how ever i would not recomend the nails very often because the chance of missing the nail and hitting the brick is too high the brick actually flatted the 420 stainless steel blade. The detail and look of the sword have completely blown my entire perception of reality into question. I was completely blown away by the performance of this sword. No problem duck tape can't solve. well worth the 3 stars. Though the blade is excellant, the tang could use improvement, by say, making out of one solid piece of metal and having a thin cylinder of wood over the handle, so if the handle splits, you can still use it and not worry about looseness. A very neat product you will love. It was a fast order, and good packaging. Then I hammered them on with metal shims to ensure a tight fit. My friend bought one and and used it on a camping trip he broke it lol. O, and for those that want to maintain the worn look of the bladephosphoric acid works great My first folded steel blade.
