( our grout is grey) It is more expensive however the grout does not get dirty and you do not have to re seal it if say you are there for more than a couple of years. Impossible to keep it like it starts out. If it is, it is a true pale grey. If your plans are to be there a while, long enough to enjoy your choices, definitely charcoal! It does look good when done right but if its not perfect will always look not perfect and as a buyer I would notice this.
